M.W. Ministry is an organization my wife and I formed initially to serve as the publisher for the book "A Layman's Journey: In Search of Spirituality," but not exclusively. It is also my intention for any profit that is generated by the sales of the book to be put toward forming an extended ministry that is aimed at serving the Catholic Church in a particular way.
That particular way is membership retention, by extending the message of "A Layman's Journey" to two primary target Christian groups. The first group is, faithful Catholics who are looking for more than what they are presently getting from, parish ministries, bible studies, and Sunday homilies. The second group is, Catholics who have left the Church for those very same reasons. With there being so much more to the richness of our Catholic faith than what is presently being presented to the faithful, the first and primary mission of M.W. Ministry is to communicate that more to Catholics specifically through the promotion of "A Layman's Journey: In Search of Spirituality." Success in doing so will hopefully retain disenchanted Catholics looking to worship outside the Catholic Church, and perhaps even bring some of those disillusioned "former" Catholics back.
In keeping with the spirit of writing "A Layman's Journey: In Search of Spirituality," which is to reach outside the Catholic community, it is also M.W. Ministry's objective to be inclusive to all Christians. Therefore, the intention to share the message of the book includes non-Catholic Christians as well.
Should M.W. Ministry experience growth, as hoped, the dimensions of its ministry expressed in this "Mission Statement" will also likely progress correspondingly in unforeseen ways. Should this occur, such dimensions will then also be expressed as they develop.
